Sussex Heritage Trust Awards for 2009

South Lodge Hotel

The 43 bedroom, four storey extension to this 5 star hotel has been voted Highly Commended by judges in the Commercial section of the Sussex Heritage Trust Awards for 2009.  They made special reference to the skills required and craftsmanship to match the prestigious neo Jacobean house built in 1883, whilst incorporating modern materials and facilities. The hotel has also been awarded Group Hotel of the Year in the Cateys 2009.
